8<\/strong> part de <strong>Stafal <\/strong><strong>(1 841 m)<\/strong> et m\u00e8ne au <strong>col du Rothorn ( <\/strong>\u00e9galement appel\u00e9 <strong>col du Salero ou <\/strong> <strong>Salerfork\u00f2) (2 687 m)<\/strong>. Il mesure <strong>4 860 m<\/strong> de long et le d\u00e9nivel\u00e9 positif total est de <strong>855 m<\/strong>.<br \/>\nLa dur\u00e9e estim\u00e9e de l&rsquo;ascension est de <strong>2 h 20<\/strong>. Le sentier est class\u00e9 dans la cat\u00e9gorie de difficult\u00e9 <strong>E<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Sur le versant droit du vallon de Bettaforca, \u00e0 hauteur de l&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sentierigressoney.it\/fr\/refuges\/#sitten\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Albergo Ristoro Sitten<\/a> (o\u00f9 il est possible de passer la nuit), s&rsquo;ouvre le <strong>petit vallon du Rothorn<\/strong>, qui se termine au <strong>col du Rothorn<\/strong>, juste en dessous duquel se trouvent les deux petits <strong>lacs du Saler<\/strong>o. Depuis le col du Rothorn, sur le versant de la vall\u00e9e d&rsquo;Ayas, partent les sentiers 10 et 11 qui traversent le <em>vallon de Contenery<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Le sentier 8 ne pr\u00e9sente aucune difficult\u00e9 technique. Comme il est possible de sauter la partie initiale et de monter \u00e0 Sant&rsquo;Anna en t\u00e9l\u00e9ph\u00e9rique depuis Stafal, cet itin\u00e9raire est toujours tr\u00e8s fr\u00e9quent\u00e9. Le long de la partie initiale de l&rsquo;itin\u00e9raire, on a une vue magnifique sur le Mont Rose, qui se dresse majestueusement derri\u00e8re le randonneur.<\/p>\n<p>Avant de redescendre dans la vall\u00e9e, pr\u00e8s de la station de d\u00e9part du t\u00e9l\u00e9ph\u00e9rique, il vaut la peine de faire un petit d\u00e9tour pour admirer la chapelle <strong>Sainte-Anne<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Attention : jusqu&rsquo;en 2025, ce sentier portait le num\u00e9ro 8A et partait de Sant&rsquo;Anna.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n<div  class='avia-button-wrap Apr\u00e8s plusieurs virages en \u00e9pingle \u00e0 cheveux, et apr\u00e8s avoir travers\u00e9 une piste de ski, vous arrivez sur le plateau de <strong>Sant&rsquo;Anna (2 180 m), \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 <\/strong>de la station d&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e du t\u00e9l\u00e9ph\u00e9rique <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sentierigressoney.it\/fr\/remontees-mecaniques\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stafal-Sant&rsquo;Anna<\/a><strong>. <\/strong>Je vous recommande vivement de faire un petit d\u00e9tour pour rejoindre la c\u00e9l\u00e8bre <strong>chapelle de Une fois cette premi\u00e8re (et unique) difficult\u00e9 surmont\u00e9e, on d\u00e9bouche sur un plateau mar\u00e9cageux situ\u00e9 \u00e0 environ <strong>2 480 m d&rsquo;altitude, o\u00f9 <\/strong>le torrent <em>Salerobach<\/em> se divise en mille filets d&rsquo;eau. L&rsquo;ancien sentier 8A venait de la gauche : on traversait le torrent \u00e0 gu\u00e9 en marchant sur une s\u00e9rie de pierres. gauche (plus facilement accessible depuis Gressoney-La-Trinit\u00e9 et en suivant le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sentierigressoney.it\/fr\/sentieri\/petit-rothorn-3014m-sentier-10\/\" class=\"sentiero-chip clickable-chip\">\n                    <i class=\"fas fa-hiking chip-icon-fa\"><\/i> \n                    <span class=\"chip-label\">SENTIER 10<\/span>\n                <\/a>) du <strong>Bloabh\u00f2re<\/strong> <strong>(2912 m) <\/strong>\u00e0 droite (\u00e9galement plus accessible depuis Valle D&rsquo;Ayas).
