Le sentier est class\u00e9 comme \u00e9tant de difficult\u00e9 <strong>EEE<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Le refuge <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sentierigressoney.it\/fr\/refuges\/#sella\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Quintino Sella <\/a>est situ\u00e9 sur un plateau rocheux au bord du glacier Felik : c&rsquo;est d&rsquo;ici que partent toutes les cord\u00e9es vers les sommets de 4000 m de l&rsquo;ouest de la cha\u00eene du Mont Rose, par exemple le Castor et le Lyskamm. L&rsquo;endroit est vraiment spectaculaire, tu es \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 imm\u00e9diate des hautes montagnes : pour ceux qui n&rsquo;ont pas l&rsquo;habitude, c&rsquo;est certainement un frisson. Note que la nourriture au refuge est excellente (les p\u00e2tes maison sont exceptionnelles) : laisse les sandwichs \u00e0 la maison pour cette randonn\u00e9e !<\/p>\n<p>Derri\u00e8re le nouveau b\u00e2timent (construit en 1981, derni\u00e8re extension en 2021) se trouve l&rsquo;ancienne cabane Quintino Sella (construite en 1907, d\u00e9plac\u00e9e et agrandie plusieurs fois dans les ann\u00e9es suivantes), actuellement utilis\u00e9e comme bivouac d&rsquo;hiver.<\/p>\n<p>Le long de l&rsquo;itin\u00e9raire, on rencontre fr\u00e9quemment des bouquetins isol\u00e9s, qui sont habitu\u00e9s au passage constant des alpinistes et donc faciles \u00e0 photographier.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Attention :<\/strong> le sentier est techniquement assez exigeant dans sa partie finale (sans surprise, il est class\u00e9 EEE) en raison de la longue section \u00e9quip\u00e9e tr\u00e8s souvent expos\u00e9e et vertigineuse. Un <strong>casque <\/strong>est fortement recommand\u00e9, \u00e0 cause des pierres que ceux qui nous pr\u00e9c\u00e8dent pourraient d\u00e9placer &#8211; le sentier est tr\u00e8s fr\u00e9quent\u00e9 &#8211; et une paire de <strong>gants de via ferrata <\/strong>afin de s&rsquo;accrocher aux c\u00e2bles et aux poign\u00e9es en acier en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Un <strong>harnais de via ferrata<\/strong> est \u00e9galement recommand\u00e9 pour ceux qui pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent s&rsquo;assurer et ne prendre aucun risque.<\/p>\n<p>N&rsquo;oublie pas d&#8217;emporter des v\u00eatements ad\u00e9quats (y compris des gants) dans ton sac \u00e0 dos pour te prot\u00e9ger du vent glacial qui est une pr\u00e9sence certaine \u00e0 ces altitudes, m\u00eame en plein \u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Le parcours original du sentier 9 part de Biel, un petit hameau situ\u00e9 juste avant Stafal.<\/p>\n<p>Il est possible de raccourcir l&rsquo;itin\u00e9raire en rejoignant le <strong>col de Bettaforca<\/strong> par les <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sentierigressoney.it\/fr\/remontees-mecaniques\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">remont\u00e9es m\u00e9caniques<\/a> (d&rsquo;abord le t\u00e9l\u00e9ph\u00e9rique de Stafal&rsquo;Anna, puis le t\u00e9l\u00e9si\u00e8ge de Sant&rsquo;Colle Betta)<strong>,<\/strong> \u00e9vitant ainsi les quelque 1 000 m\u00e8tres de d\u00e9nivel\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Pour ceux qui souhaitent tout de m\u00eame partir \u00e0 pied du fond de la vall\u00e9e, une excellente alternative au d\u00e9part de Biel est le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sentierigressoney.it\/fr\/sentieri\/col-de-bettolina-inferieur-2906m-sentier-1\/\" class=\"sentiero-chip clickable-chip\">\n                    <i class=\"fas fa-hiking chip-icon-fa\"><\/i> \n                    <span class=\"chip-label\">SENTIER 1<\/span>\n                <\/a> qui, partant de Stafal, m\u00e8ne au <strong>col de Bettolina Inferiore mulets <\/strong>(\u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur de laquelle Guido d\u00e9clare depuis des ann\u00e9es son admiration pour Celentano), un abri pour les mulets qui servaient \u00e0 transporter les charges jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 la cabane. \u00c0 partir d&rsquo;ici, les charges \u00e9taient port\u00e9es \u00e0 dos&#8230; d&rsquo;homme, et le fait que ce soit le dernier point qu&rsquo;une mule puisse atteindre montre bien que les choses deviennent s\u00e9rieuses \u00e0 partir d&rsquo;ici. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit en 1726 par le notaire J. J. Thedy, premier juge de la baronnie de Valleise, et restaur\u00e9 en 1995.
