<strong>Ondre Eselbode<\/strong> <strong>(1,627 m)<\/strong> and ends at <strong>Lake Gabiet (2,378 m)<\/strong>. It is <b>5,624 meters <\/b>long, <b>and <\/b>the total elevation gain is <strong>772 meters<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThe estimated time for the climb is <strong>2 hours and 50 minutes<\/strong>. The trail is rated of difficulty <strong>E<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Please note: Until June 2026, this trail ended at Zube pass. As of June 2026, the trail has been divided into two sections: the section from the valley floor to Gabiet is numbered <strong>4<\/strong>, while the section from Gabiet to the Zube pass is now <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sentierigressoney.it\/en\/sentieri\/zube-pass-2871-m-trail-4b\/\" class=\"sentiero-chip clickable-chip\">\n                    <i class=\"fas fa-hiking chip-icon-fa\"><\/i> \n                    <span class=\"chip-label\">TRAIL 4B<\/span>\n                <\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The trail starts in Gressoney-La-Trinit\u00e9 and winds <em>through <\/em>the beautiful <em>N\u00e9tsch\u00f2 valley, climbs <\/em>up to the Gabiet Lake dam, runs along the lake, and from there, for a stretch, follows the same <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sentierigressoney.it\/en\/sentieri\/col-dolen-trail-6\/\" class=\"sentiero-chip clickable-chip\">\n                    <i class=\"fas fa-hiking chip-icon-fa\"><\/i> \n                    <span class=\"chip-label\">ROUTE AS TRAIL 6<\/span>\n                <\/a>, which leads to Olen pass.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lake Gabiet<\/strong> is a natural lake that was closed by a dam in 1921 to feed <a href=\"https:\/\/cvaspa.it\/dighe-del-gabiet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the Gressoney hydroelectric plant<\/a>.
