I recommend everyone read Maria Teresa Cometto&#8217;s beautiful book, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.montagna.tv\/141627\/alpinismo-antieroico-la-montagna-dei-fratelli-squinobal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Due montanari&#8221;<\/a> (Two Mountain People).<\/p>\n<p>The shelter, in which it is possible to stay overnight, was built directly by the Squinobal family, and only vegan food is eaten there: read the appropriate in-depth page of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sentierigressoney.it\/en\/refuges\/#oresteshutte\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dedicated website <\/a>to learn details about how environmentally sustainable the shelter is.<\/p>\n<p>The trail does not present the slightest technical difficulty. Note that the Salza Pass can also be reached from the Gabiet by directly following <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sentierigressoney.it\/en\/sentieri\/mantova-and-gnifetti-refuges-trail-6a\/\" To the right, however, continue along Trail <strong>6B<\/strong>. I could not enter the shelter because, during Covid period, the entrance was reserved only for those who had made reservations.<\/p>\n<p>I realize, looking at the path below that after junction 6A\/6B, going to the hut, I did not follow the path perfectly.
