Except for the last one<strong>(Punta della Regina<\/strong>), they are all reserved for fairly experienced and trained hikers.<\/p>\n<p>They can almost always be reached directly from a trail, except for <strong>Rothorn, Punta Rissuolo and Punta Lazouney<\/strong>, which require an off-trail but still tracked or easily guessed route. Long route with a couple of tricky spots (described in the dedicated sheet), but the view from up there is absolutely incomparable. It can be reached from Stafal by following <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sentierigressoney.it\/en\/sentieri\/alta-luce-hochliecht-trail-7c\/\" class=\"sentiero-chip clickable-chip\">\n                    <i class=\"fas fa-hiking chip-icon-fa\"><\/i> \n                    <span class=\"chip-label\">TRAIL 7C<\/span>\n                <\/a> or, with less effort, by ascending to <strong>Gabiet<\/strong> with the lifts from Stafal, arriving at the <strong>Salza<\/strong> pass with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sentierigressoney.it\/en\/sentieri\/salza-hill-trail-6b\/\" class=\"sentiero-chip clickable-chip\">\n                    <i class=\"fas fa-hiking chip-icon-fa\"><\/i> \n                    <span class=\"chip-label\">TRAIL 6B <\/span>\n                <\/a> and then continuing to the summit with trail <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sentierigressoney.it\/en\/sentieri\/alta-luce-hochliecht-trail-7c\/\" class=\"sentiero-chip clickable-chip\">\n                    <i class=\"fas fa-hiking chip-icon-fa\"><\/i> \n valley<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>From Saint Jean<\/strong>: If you want to reach a wild and almost unvisited peak, <strong>Punta Rissuolo<\/strong> is the obvious choice: about a hundred meters above the <strong>Rissuolo Pass<\/strong> (accessible via the challenging <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sentierigressoney.it\/en\/sentieri\/gressoney-saint-jean-trail-8-rissuolo-pass\/\" class=\"sentiero-chip clickable-chip\">\n                    <i class=\"fas fa-hiking chip-icon-fa\"><\/i> \n                    <span class=\"chip-label\">TRAIL 8<\/span>\n                <\/a>), you\u2019ll reach the summit with near certainty that you won\u2019t run into anyone.<br \/>\n<strong>Warning: the route from the pass to the summit is off-trail, runs over steep and rocky terrain, and is reserved for Saint-Jean<\/strong>: Peak number 3 is in my opinion <strong>Corno Vitello<\/strong>, which can be reached via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sentierigressoney.it\/en\/sentieri\/corno-vitello-trail-5b\/\" class=\"sentiero-chip clickable-chip\">\n                    <i class=\"fas fa-hiking chip-icon-fa\"><\/i> \n                    <span class=\"chip-label\">TRAIL 5B<\/span>\n                <\/a> after reaching Valfredda Pass via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sentierigressoney.it\/en\/sentieri\/valfredda-pass-trail-5a\/\" class=\"sentiero-chip clickable-chip\">\n                    <i class=\"fas fa-hiking chip-icon-fa\"><\/i> \n                    <span class=\"chip-label\">TRAIL 5A<\/span>\n                <\/a>. It is reached by traversing the beautiful <strong>Loo valley,<\/strong> first arriving at Lazouney Pass via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sentierigressoney.it\/en\/sentieri\/loo-pass-trail-12\/\" class=\"sentiero-chip clickable-chip\">\n                    <i class=\"fas fa-hiking chip-icon-fa\"><\/i> \n                    <span class=\"chip-label\">TRAIL 12<\/span>\n                <\/a> (the very short final section is on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sentierigressoney.it\/en\/sentieri\/lazoney-pass-trail-12c\/\" class=\"sentiero-chip clickable-chip\">\n                    <i class=\"fas fa-hiking chip-icon-fa\"><\/i> \n                    <span class=\"chip-label\">TRAIL 12C<\/span>\n                <\/a>), and ascending the short ridge to the summit. You have to get to <strong>Weismatten<\/strong> by the chairlift of the same name, and take <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sentierigressoney.it\/en\/sentieri\/punta-regina-trail-3a\/\" class=\"sentiero-chip clickable-chip\">\n                    <i class=\"fas fa-hiking chip-icon-fa\"><\/i> \n                    <span class=\"chip-label\">TRAIL 3A<\/span>\n                <\/a>, which first leads to a grassy basin with a small lake (where, if you wish, you can stop without continuing further) and then, with a short ascent, arrives at <strong>Punta della Regina<\/strong>, a very scenic peak but at the same time devoid of the slightest risk.
